Itineraries

Day (1) Arrival at Yangon and Yangon sightseeing (by car)

Upon arrival at Yangon and our driver and guide will welcome you at the airport and firstly visit to City center landmark Sule Pagoda, Mahabandoola Park downtown of Yangon with remarkable sites of Colonial Buildings & City Hall and Synagogue. Then proceed to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda. Then transfer to Kandawgyi, one of two major lakes in Yangon and is artificial. Then enjoy sunset at there with the background of Shwedagon pagoda. Then, visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda. Stay overnight at Yangon.

Day ( 2)Fly to Bagan and Bagan sightseeing (by flight/car)

After breakfast at Hotel, our driver transfers to the airport and take the flight to Nyaung oo , upon arrival at Nyaung oo,our driver and guide will pick you up and dvisit to Shwezigon Pagoda (Early 11th Century by King Anawrahta), Ananda Temple (Various seated Buddha figure and four different modes of standing Buddha), Myingaba Gu Byauk Gyi Temple (Mural painting of Jataka scenes which is safe under UNESCO protection). After lunch, Manuha Temple (built in 10th century by Mon Dynasty) Nanphaya Temple (Sandstone monuments and residence of King Manuha), Thatbyinnyu Temple, Sabbannu or “the Omniscient”, is a famous temple located in Bagan, built in the mid-12th century during the reign of King Alaungsithu, Htilominlo Pagoda which built during the reign of King Htilominlo (also known as Nandaungmya). Sightseeing the old wall painting at Dhamayangyi Pagoda. Then, Enjoy sunset at sunset point after that  transfer back to hotel which you are staying in. Stay overnight at Bagan.

Day (3) Sunrise at Bagan and mount popa sightseeing and transfer to Mandalay by private car (by car)

You have to wake up early morning to enjoy the beautiful sunset at 5:00 am. Then our driver will take you at the sunrise point. Take the beautiful photos and enjoy the sunrise. After that drive back to Hotel and enjoy your breakfast at hotel. Our excellent driver and professional English speaking guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive to Mount Popa, an extinct volcano over 1500 m high, which is about 48km south east of Bagan. Enjoy an excursion of stupas, monasteries and Nat worship shrines. After that transfer to the Mandalay and stay overnight at Mandalay.

Day (4) Transfer to Pyin oo lwin and Pyin oo Lwin sightseeing (By car)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel, our excellent driver and guide will pick you up and it is 1 hours’ drive from Mandalay to PYINOOLWIN .Upon arrival to PYINOOLWIN, firstly go to local market and see ways of life and products. Then go to PYICHIT pagoda (country lover pagoda). This imaged was bought and carried Chinese people but jumped down from the vehicle. That is why we call PYICHIT pagoda. Then go to BE fall, famous for view and fall. Then enjoy lunch at PYINOoLWIN at local restaurant. Later pay a visit to Governor House and go to KANDAWGYI national garden built by British in 1924. It is biggest National Botanical Garden in Myanmar. We can enjoy fresh air, forest and learn many kinds of orchids, flowers. After sightseeing transfer to the hotel and stay overnight at pyin oo lwin.

 

Day (5) Train to GoteHteik and transfer to hsipaw by car and Hsipaw sightseeing (by train/car)

After breakfast, at 08:00 am, transfer to Maymyo Rail way station for an adventurous train journey to NaungPein village. The train passes over Gokteik Railway Viaduct. When the Pennsylvania Steel company built the viaduct a 300 meters deep gorge a century ago, it was the second highest bridge in the world. The view from the train is fascinating and the scenery is beautiful. At Naungpein, our driver is waiting for you. And come go to Hsipaw by private car. On the way to Hsipaw, visit to Bawgyopagoda which is the most famous pagoda in Shan State. And then visit to Hsipaw’s Shan Prince Royal Palce and sunset at Sunset hill and enjoy the sunset. After that transfer to the hotel and stay overnight at Hispaw.

 

Day (6) Nam Tok Water Fall and Village Walk Boat trip (by boat/walk) (Rate:Medium)

Partly uphill & slippery in wet season. Elder trekkers should have walking practic

 

Walk through the rice field, swim at Nam Tok Fall, Walk back to Farmer’s villages, enjoy the country panoramic scenery, learn living style of Shan villages. Have Shan Rice Noodle at tiny local village mall with the local guide.

Afterwards, continue an hour by boat up streaming river, through nice scenery with the mountain, valley, plantations along the river, visit and sightseeing at river confluence at which swimming is available on the individual wish. On the way down-streaming by boat, go visit to a SHAN village which has typical houses with a small charming gardens and then return home by boat

Day (7) Soft Trakking and Kayaking ( Rate: easy)

Mostly on flat terrain and trek duration is adjustable for elder trekker

 

Move out from the town on Tok2 Pickup for 15 Min to trek starting point.

Commence the walk from a Shan village through paddy and crops for half an hour to Palaung village of whom they live the life on farming and bamboo stuff weaving. Short tea break may take here for a while and keep strolling in the fields in splendid countryside for an hour. Pass the railway track and visit more villages where one’s river crew is waiting for. Dress up, get all Kayaks stuff and begin to paddle and flow down the “Dotthawaddy” to enjoy her beauty. Downstream along by the villages, farm and crops, via the town for an hour accomplish the paddle at river bank village.

Take a snack break and redirect ramble through farm land, villages for an hour while one could visit cottage workshop (Producing bamboo hand fan, basket weaving, cheroot rolling etc.)

Day (8) Transfer to Mandalay and leisure at Mandalay (by car)

After breakfast at hotel, drive back to Mandalay (around 5 hours drive to Mandalay from Hsipaw) on the way you can rest at the restaurant or stop for the photo shot. Upon arrival at Mandalay, transfer to the hotel and take leisure at the hotel. Stay overnight at mandalay.

Day (9) Mingun sightseeing by boat and Mandalay sightseeing (by boat/car)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel. Our excellent driver and professional English speaking guide will pick you up from the hotel. Then take a boat trip to Mingun (Just 12 KM on the west bank upstream from Mandalay).Upon arrival visit to Pondaw Paya (A five meter high working model for gigantic structure).Settawya Paya (the valued shrine with a footprint of the Buddha). Mingun Pahtotawgyi Paya (one of the world’s largest chides built by Bodaw Paya).Mingun Bell (the World renowned ringing, 90tons weight).Hsinbyume Paya (a representation of the Sulamani Pyay which stands atop Mt.Meru . Then we will return to Mandalay. And then visit to Golden palace monastery covered by gold leave and wood carving, Kuthodaw pagoda (the world biggest book) acknowledged by UNESCO. Enjoy sunset and bird-eyed view of Mandalay at the top of Mandalay hill (975feet above sea level) by car. And transfer to hotel and stay overnight at Mandalay.

Day (10) Amarapura and Ava and Sagaing sightseeing (By car/boat/horse cart)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel, our excellent driver and professional English speaking guide will pick you up from the hotel then visit to Maharmuni pagoda , silk weaving industry, Myanmar traditional style and since 1803 we continue doing this business. Then proceed to Ava but driver will drop you off at the bank of Myitnge River so we have to take the ferry boat. Upon arrival to Ava, use horse cart and enjoy the local life. In Ava, visit to Bargayar monastery with 176 teak pillars and the longest teak pillar are 17m and 2. 7m wide built in 1834 AD, leaning tower or Nanmyint tower built in 1822AD and Maenu stucco monastery or Mahaaungmyaebonsan monastery built in 1822AD. Then start excursion to Sagaing hill by car crossing the Irrawaddy River (Myanmar longest river). In Sagaing, visit to Oominthonese pagoda and Swanooponyashin pagoda. Then enjoy sunset at Upein Bridge (the world longest teak bridge) with 1086 teak posts and 1. 2km long and over 160years old, Then drive back to Mandalay. Be leisure at hotel and overnight at Mandalay.

After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Mandalay international airport on your international departure time.

  1. Travel Documentation

All clients must be in possession of a valid passport and necessary visas or permits at the commencement of travel. All such documentation is the sole responsibility of the client. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of Myanmar, the free baggage allowance within Myanmar is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client
