Kalaw is a famous hill station in Myanmar. The Thodor Style of houses and beautiful garden attract to visitors. The weather is cool and pleasant so Kalaw is well known about trekking among local and foreign visitors. Also Inle Lake is the most famous tourist attraction place therefore recently trekking from Kalaw to Inle Lake is the most popular way. The two kinds of trekking are day trek and overnight trek. Day return treks are from Kalaw to Taryaw village and Kalaw to Painaepin village. Kalaw to Inle trek has two ways they are two days one night and three days two nights. For two days one night trek is started at Bawninkon village then walk about one hour to get Kon Hla village for enjoying lunch. After lunch keep on trekking about three and half hours to get Ti Thein village. Be overnight at local monastery of Ti Thein village. In the next morning trek will be started again for four hours to get Indein village, the goal of the trek. For 3 days 2 nights the starting point is changed and from there walk about two hours and half minutes to reach a view point and take light Indian food for refreshment. At the view point scenic beauty and gorgeous landscape of forest capped hills attract to the trekkers. Then proceed to Hinkhargone village to get Ywa Pu village which is for have dinner and overnight stop at local home. The left two days is proceeded according to 2 days 1 night trekking. On the way, you will see green gardens, steams, pine trees, pear trees, chilly gardens and much kind of birds. The villages along the trekking way are real country sides that the ethnic groups of Danu, TaungYo and PaO live. When you cross the villages you can see the way of life of villagers and walk outside the villages you will see farms, terracing and the local people, who pick up the tea, cultivate the crops, harvesting their crops and so on. Therefore trekking is the best way to see and feel the natural atmosphere and cannot forget this experience.
