Taukkyant War Cemetery

There are three  Allied War Memorial Cemeteries in Myanmar. They are three Taukkyan and Hantharwatti at Yangon and Thanbyuzayat at Mawlaamyine.  Among them Taukkyan War Cemetery is situated north of Yangon on Pyay   Road. I have never been to Hantharwatti and Thanbyuzayat Cemeteries. I can’t forget a bad mood when I was at Taukkyan Cemetery. At the cemetery there are about 6426 graves and memorial pillars with the names of over 27000 Allied soldiers who gave their lives during the Second World War. One grave or one name on the memorial pillars represents one live.  Each live has own family. The lamentation of their families was limitless. Why do people create wars or battles? For justice or injustice? For freedom or undependence? For right or wrong? During the Second World War someone who was an Allied Soldier and who was a Japan Nippon Army soldier they became enemies each other without intention. Were they prey of the credo? Different nationalities, tribes, skin, language cause of the wars? I realize by watching there  Live is too short so people need to love each other. For visiting to Taukkyan War Cemetery contains in one day tour from Yangon to Bago because it is situated on the of Yangon-Bago Road and if you do Bago sightseeing , visiting to Taukkyant war cemetery is a must.
