Itineraries

Day (1) Arrival to Yangon International Airport and Leisure at hotel (By car)

Upon Arrival to Yangon Internationl Airport, Our excellent driver and professional English speaking guide will give you a warmly welcome and drive you to the hotel and take the rest at the hotel. Stay overnight at Yangon.

Day (2) Yangon Sightseeing and fly to Mandalay (By car/ flight)

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and check out. Our driver and guide will come and take you to start the sightseeing in Yangon. Firstly, visit to Botahtaung Pagoda and Nanthida jetty. At the jetty, you can watch the traffic on the Yangon River where luxury cruise liners come to berth quite often. Then, proceed to Sule Pagoda and National Museum and downtown area of Yangon with remarkable sites of Colonial Buildings & City Hall and Synagogue. And proceed to Bogyoke (Scott) Market where you can see hundreds of stores and gems shops (closed on Mondays and on Gazette Holidays).And continue to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda and go to Kandawgyi, one of two major lakes in Yangon, which is artificial. There, the guide will point out the Karaweik Hall that looks like a huge golden barge floating on the Lake, glittering in the sun. Enjoy sunset there with the background of Shwedagon pagoda. Then, take a visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda and drive to the airport and fly to Mandalay. When you arrive at the Mandalay Airport, our driver will drive you to the hotel. Stay overnight at Mandalay.

Day (3) Mingum- Sagaing- Mandalay Biking Tour (By car/ flight/ boat/ bike)

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and English speaking bike guide will pick you up at the hotel and will transfer you to the jetty to take a boat to Mingum. When you get to the jetty in Mingum, start biking to one of main highlights; the unfinished pagoda which would have been the world’s largest pagoda if it were completed. Then, ride to the giant 90 tons bronze Mingun Bell – considered to be the largest cracked bell on the planet. Continue riding to see the usual stupa-type of the MyaThein Dan Pagoda, also known as Hsinbyume Pagoda. Then we will start biking again to Sagaing and ride the Sagaing hill up by bike. After finished, our driver will be waiting for you at the foothill and take you to the Mandalay back. And leisure at the hotel. Overnight at Mandalay.

Day (4) Amarapura- Mandalay Sightseeing and Fly to Nyaung Oo ( By car/ flight )

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver and guide will meet you and take you to the Mandalay Hill. After driving down the hill, proceed to Mandalay Royal palace built in 1857 by king Mindon (the second last king of Yadanabon Kingdom). Then visit to Golden palace monastery covered by gold leave and wood carving. And go to Kuthodaw pagoda (the world biggest book) acknowledged by UNESCO. Come back to the hotel and check out. Enjoy your lunch at the local restaurant and head to visit to a must-see called Mahamuni Buddha image, casted in Buddha time (Bc623).The Temple for the image was built in 1784 by King Bodawphaya which was burnt down in 1884. But King Thibaw ( the last king of Myanmar) renovated with Myanmar and Italian architecture. There are bronze figures from Ankarwot Temple from Cambodia. Then head to Stone carving place and learn what they are doing there. Later visit to puppet, wood carving, tapestry and gold-leave making center. After that, take you to the U Pein Bridge (the world longest teak bridge) with 1086 teak posts and 1. 2km long. It is over 160years old. Enjoy your sunset at the Bridge and drive you to the airport and fly to Nyaung Oo. When you are at the Nyaung Oo airport, our driver will pick you up to the hotel. Overnight at Bagan.

Day (5) Exploring Nyaung Oo Market and Sightseing at Bagan ( By Car )

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and our excellent driver and professional English speaking guide will pick you up and start sightseeing at Bagan which is one of the World Heritage Site in Myanmar. Firstly visit to Nyaung Oo Local Market . This colorful market is definitely a must-see. There,you can find almost everything from fresh fish, vegetables, handicrafts, to Myanmar sarong (locals call it “longyi”). Make sure to shop around and bargain. The market also offers a great chance to explore how they conduct their daily life. Then proceed to Shwezigon Pagoda (Early 11th Century by King Anawrahta), Ananda Temple (Various seated Buddha figure and four different modes of standing Buddha) and explore the old wall painting at Dhamayangyi Pagoda. Then, transfer to Htilominlo Pagoda which was built during the reign of King Htilominlo, Thatbinnyunt Pagoda (the highest pagoda in Bagan) and Shwesandaw Pagoda. Enjoy your lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Manuha Temple ( built in 10th century by Mon Dynasty), Myingaba GuByauk Gyi Temple, Nanphaya Temple (Sandstone monuments and residence of King Manuha). And enjoy the sunset at the sunset point.After sunset, you will be transferred to the hotel and overnight at Bagan.

Day (6) Fly to Heho and Inle- Indein Sightseeing ( By car/ flight/ boat )

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will take you to the airport and take a flight to Heho. When you arrive to Heho airport, our driver will drive you to the hotel near Inle lake. Then, the excellent boat driver and professional English speaking guide will pick you up from the hotel and take a boat trip to Inle Lake (This Lake is second largest lake in Myanmar). The Intha peoples lived for many years in stilted villages upon the lake and make their livelihood by fishing and growing crops on unique floating gardens. Then,visit to Phaung Daw Oo pagoda and continue by boat to NgaPheChaung monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake. You can also see the native’s method of rowing by leg, method of fishing, Shan shoulders bag weaving workshop in Nan Pan Village on the Lake. Then we will visit to local cheroot factory (where the Burmese cigars are made) and canoe carving. And then, to the floating gardens, which was built-up from strips of water hyacinth and mud. You can also see the traditional leg rowers of the Inle Lake. Then, will explore the southern part of the lake by boat sailing through small twisting and turning creeks to reach Indein village. This small village located on the south-western bank of the lake is famous for its ruined clusters of pagodas dated back to 16th century. The tranquil peaceful ambience and the ruins overgrown with bushes will bring you centuries back. After that, we will proceed to Ywa-Ma village and gold and silversmiths workshop. After sightseeing, come back to the hotel and enjoy the sunset at the hotel. Overnight at Inle.

Day(7) Kakku Sightseeing and Excursion to Winery ( By car )

After breakfast at hotel, then visit to Kakku Pagoda (One of the Asia’s largest and most spectacular ancient monuments). It contains over 2.000 stupas with origins dating back many centuries. It exists not only as an outstanding example of tradition art and architecture but also as a testament to the religious devotion of the Pa-Oh (one of Myanmar’s many ethnic groups ).For many centuries, the Pa-Oh has lived in peace, cultivating their land and devoting much of their energy and limited wealth to creating monasteries and pagodas. After that, drive back to Taunggyi, the capital of the Shan State. Visit Taunggyi Central Market and Ananda temple. You will see the vista of the city of Shan people and their beautiful mountain range. Then visit to Ayetharyar winery for wine testing. Drive back to hotel and stay overnight at Inle lake.

Day (8) Fly to Thandwe and Leisure at Ngapli Beach ( by car/ flight )

After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will take you to the Heho airport and take a flight to Thandwe. When you arrive at Thandwe Airport, the hotel car will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the Ngapali beach. Take the leisure at the beach. Overnight at Ngapali.

Day(9) Leisure at Ngapali Beach 

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. Stay relax. No activities of LM Travel Myanmar. But you can join some activities on your own or take rest well. Stay overnight at Ngapali.

Day(10) Fly to Yangon and Half day walking tour ( By car/ flight/ on foot )

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel. After a while, the hotel car will transfer you to the airport and take a flight to Yangon. When you arrive at Yangon airport, our driver will pick you up and take you to the hotel. Later, our driver and guide will take you to go out for lunch at local restaurant. Then drive straight to and drop at City center landmark Sule Pagoda to start walking tour. Then to Mahabandoola Park in downtown area of Yangon with remarkable sites and walk along the Strand Road to see many of Colonial Buildings such as City Hall, High Court Building, The Secretariat or Ministers Office, Strand Hotel, the Central Telephone & Telegraph office, the Custom House, the Yangon central railway station on Bo Gyoke road, the Myanmar Port Authority and the final point is Botataung Pagoda. After walking tour, come back to the hotel and stay overnight at Yangon.

Day (11) Drive to Golden Rock and Sunset at Golden Rock ( by car/ light truck )

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel, your guide and driver will come and drive you to the Golden Rock (driving about 4 hours). One the way, we will visit to Htaukkyant Allied War Memorial Cemetery and to Payagyi pagoda. Then, proceed to the Golden Rock by taking a truck to Kim Pun camp, a sub-camp by light truck. Then climb up to Ya-The-Taung, a sub camp by light truck. Continue to hill top and transfer to hotel and take a short rest. In the evening, visit to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda (Golden Rock ) by just walking from your hotel. Enjoy the sunset at the Golden Rock. Then walk back to the hotel and stay overnight at Golden Rock.

Day (12) Drive to Hpa An and Hpa An Sightseeing ( By car/ boat)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and our excellent driver and professional tour guide will pick you up to Zwekabin Mountain. You can do hard trekking and I will take about 3-4 hours to get to the summit. At the bottom of mountain, you can visit to Lumbini garden. Then visit to Sadan Cave; one of the beautiful cave in Hpa-An. You can take a boat to have look amazing scenery around Sadan Cave. Then, observe the cave by passing through the cave to other side. On the way back to hotel, visit to Kyauk Ka Latt pagoda which is situated in the middle of lake. Finally back to hotel and overnight at Hpa-An.

Day(13) Drive to Mawlamyine – Mawlamyin Sightseeing ( by car)

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel and our excellent driver and professional tour guide will pick you up and lead to Mawlamyine ( he capital city of Mon State).Upon your arrival, visit to Thanphuzayat death raily way and Allied War Cemetary. Then visit to Win Sein Tawya Pagoda; the world biggest reclining Buddha Image. You can also see the colonial buildings in Malamyine. Then back to hotel and overnightat Mawlamyine.

Day(14) Drive back to Yangon ( By car )

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and our driver and proessional guide will pick you up and then head to Yangon. Stay overnight at Yangon.

Day (15) Depature from Yangon ( by car )

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and stay relax. No activities of LM Travel Myanmar. But, if you have time, you can visit some places and join some activities on your own. Then our driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure from Myanmar.

In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of Myanmar, the free baggage allowance within Myanmar is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client
